WHAT I DO
Due to the nature in which the construction industry works disputes are, sadly, commonplace and can be severely detrimental to all parties involved. I therefore aim to assist people with the resolution of disputes which they often find difficult and, moreover, time consuming to resolve on their own.
 
Making full use of my 30 years experience in the construction industry I am able to make a 360 degree assessment of all problem situations and take on full responsibility for their resolution, leaving my clients free to concentrate on doing their primary job of running their project or business, as appropriate.
 
From Pre-Contract advice on the risks involved in taking on any project to the undertaking of a full risk assessment CRH’s primary objective is to help our clients complete more successful projects. Our suite of services also include providing more general construction and contractual advice through to assisting with adjudication and mediation’s should either of these be necessary. In addition I can also act as an independent adjudicator or mediator should both parties in any dispute agree.
 
Having gained 30 years experience in the construction industry managing construction projects, and then running and owning my own medium sized construction company, I fully understand the roles and responsibilities of both principle contractors, their clients and also their sub-contractors. This, together with being an Accredited Mediator and qualified Adjudicator means that I am able to provide a service that many others are unable to offer.

Pre-Contract

Reviewing tender documents, assisting with tender submissions, reviewing of programme periods and programme sequencing and  offering full assistance with negotiating contracts.

Mediation

Preparing and organising mediation as party representative or acting as a Mediator should all parties to the dispute be content to appoint CRH in this role.

Post Contract

Reviewing contract documents, providing contractual advice, supporting project team, monitoring progress, preparing valuations, claims and final accounts, project management, contract administration and acting as Employers Agents.

Adjudication

Preparing and organising adjudications as party representative or acting as an Adjudicator should all parties to the dispute be content to appoint CRH in this role.
